About the Role:

Dunbar Education is excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wolverhampton. Starting in September 2024, this permanent full-time position is ideal for an enthusiastic educator eager to inspire and motivate students in the field of science.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess students' work to ensure high standards of learning and achievement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of the science curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred (unqualified and expereinced candidates welcome to apply)
  • A degree in a science-related discipline.
  • Experience teaching science at the secondary level is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative approach to teaching.
