We seek an enthusiastic and devoted SEN Science Teacher to join a fantastic provision in St Albans. Your role will involve designing and delivering captivating and inclusive lessons tailored to the specific requirements of students with SEN.
The ideal candidate will be an experience Science teacher with a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students with SEN. You should possess a solid understanding of the Science curriculum and be capable of adapting your teaching approach to accommodate the diverse needs of your students.
Key responsibilities:
- Devise and deliver captivating lessons that cater to the individual needs of students
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to ensure that all students can access the curriculum
- Modify studies to address the diverse needs of students with different SEN requirements
- Employ various assessment methods to monitor student progress and ensure they are making significant advancements
- Collaborate effectively with the SENCO and other members of the SEN team to ensure that the needs of all students with SEN are met
Requirements:
- QTS
- Demonstrated experience in teaching Science to students with SEN
- Proficient knowledge of the Science curriculum
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to cultivate positive relationships with students, staff and parents
- A strong commitment to inclusive education and the flexibility to adapt your teaching style to accommodate the diverse needs of your students
