We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Science Technician to join the Secondary School in Hertford.
As the Science Technician, you will be responsible for the preparation, organization, and supervision of the day-to-day operations in the science laboratories. You will help teach students to understand and appreciate science, ensure resources and supplies are well stocked, ensure equipment and chemicals are stored, managed and operated safely, and will provide support and guidance to students and teachers during lessons.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience in laboratory and equipment set up, maintenance and storage. You should also have the necessary technical and academic knowledge, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and experience in providing instructional support to science students.
The start date for this role is ASAP, and is full-time and permanent.
