Requirements:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
  2. Minimum of 6 months of teaching experience within a UK educational setting, preferably in English language and literature.
  3. Strong subject knowledge and passion for English language, literature, and literacy development.
  4. Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.
  6. Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to enhancing teaching practice and student outcomes.
  7. Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain) and compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
  8. Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience to meet the evolving needs and challenges of the educational landscape.
