This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students aged 7 to 18 who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, within a highly supportive and therapeutic learning environment.

📍 About the Role

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Deliver engaging and therapeutic music lessons across Key Stages 2-5
  • Teach in a purpose-built music studio equipped with recording facilities, digital tech, and performance space
  • Collaborate with a strong inclusion team including therapists and behavioural specialists
  • Participate in cross-curricular creative projects, performances, and enrichment activities

👩‍🏫 About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or substantial relevant experience
  • Experience working with children with SEMH, SEN, or behavioural needs is highly desirable
  • Able to foster trust, consistency, and creativity in your teaching
  • Comfortable teaching practical and theory-based music from entry-level to GCSE or equivalent
  • Passionate about music as a therapeutic and educational tool
