Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking an exceptional ECT to join our dynamic team in Northampton. This is a full-time position with the flexibility to start immediately or in September 2023.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes growth and development.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support students' academic, social, and emotional progress.
- Collaborate with a team of educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their learning.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student achievements, attendance, and behavior.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently enrolled in a recognized ECT program.
- Specialization or experience in teaching students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for working with children with SEN and a commitment to their holistic development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Adaptability and resilience to meet the diverse needs of students and overcome challenges.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons.
