SEN Mathematics Teacher WANTED!
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Contract Type: Full-time
Start Date: September 2023
Pay: Starting from £160 per day
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEN Mathematics teacher to join our team at a school in Hemel Hempstead.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering Mathematics lessons to young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mathematics and a teaching qualification such as a PGCE with QTS.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and delivering Mathematics lessons to SEN young people.
- Creating lesson materials that are suitable for the learning needs of SEN students.
- Using creative teaching methods, including physical activities to engage students who struggle to learn from sitting down.
- Assessing and monitoring the progress of each student.
- Working collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Requirements:
- A degree in Mathematics.
- A teaching qualification such as a PGCE with QTS.
- Experience in teaching SEN students.
- Knowledge of the national curriculum for Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students.
