Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Dunbar Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN PE Teacher/Tutor to join our team.

Position: SEN PE Teacher/Tutor
Location: Bedford
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Salary:

  • Tutor: £23,000 - £26,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Teacher: £28,000 - £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities: As a SEN PE Teacher/Tutor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of students aged 11-18. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN.
  • Providing individualised support and guidance to students, fostering a positive learning experience.
  • Collaborating with the broader educational team to create an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
  • Demonstrating a "get up and go" attitude and an ability to connect with students on a personal level.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students aged 11-18.
  • Passion for supporting students with SEN and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
