We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed SEN Science Teacher to join our team in St Albans. As an SEN Science Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to create and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the unique needs of students with SEN.
The ideal candidate will be an experience Science Teacher with a proven track record of delivering high-quality education to students with SEN. You should possess a strong understanding of the Science curriculum and be capable of adapting your teaching style to accommodate the diverse requirements of your students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver captivating Science lessons car to the individual needs of SEN students
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies to ensure that all students can access and comprehend the science curriculum
- Modify lessons to meet the varying needs of students with SEN requirements
- Employ a range of assessment methods to monitor student progress and ensure they are making satisfactory advancements
- Collaborate closely with the SENCO and other members of the SEN team to ensure that the needs of all SEN students are effectively addressed
Key Requirements:
- QTS
- Experience in teaching Science to students with SEN
- Profound knowledge of the Science curriculum,
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
- A dedication to inclusive education and the flexibility to adapt your teaching style to accommodate the diverse needs of your students
