Job Description: Dunbar Education is looking for dedicated Specialist SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with special educational needs in primary schools throughout Milton Keynes. This role offers a mix of short-term and long-term placements, providing you with diverse experiences and opportunities to make a lasting impact on the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to children with special educational needs (SEN).
- Assist class teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with SENCOs and other professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and track student progress and report to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children with SEN in a school setting.
- Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and strategies for support.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
