SEN Support Staff & SEN Teacher Positions Available!

Dunbar Education is seeking dedicated and experienced professionals to join our team as SEN Support Staff and SEN Teachers. These rewarding positions are available starting January and offer an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Position 1: SEN Support Staff

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in SEN support roles in a UK educational setting.
  • An up-to-date DBS check registered on the update service.
  • Full-time availability.
  • Commitment to working during term time only.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere for students with SEN.

Position 2: SEN Teacher

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with specialisation in SEN.
  • Previous teaching experience in a UK SEN setting.
  • An up-to-date DBS check registered on the update service.
  • Full-time availability.
  • Commitment to working during term time only.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
  • Develop and implement differentiated teaching strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and other teachers to create a cohesive learning environment.
  • Regularly assess and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
