SEN Teacher

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
  • Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and other professionals to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Develop and maintain individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in SEN teaching and inclusive education practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent SEN teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome challenges.
  • The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles.
