Position: SEN Teacher/SEN Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Full-time only
Responsibilities for SEN Teachers:
- Create and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with special educational needs.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
- Adapt teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate with other teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive classroom environment.
Requirements for SEN Teachers:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in teaching or supporting individuals with SEN.
- Qualified Teachers must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support diverse needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.
Responsibilities for SEN Teaching Assistants:
- Provide support to teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assist students with their academic and personal development.
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure consistent support and progress monitoring.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistants:
- Experience working with students with special educational needs would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patient, compassionate, and empathetic approach.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the individual needs of students.
