Are you an experienced and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant seeking a rewarding opportunity in Hemel Hempstead? Look no further! Dunbar Education is currently seeking an exceptional individual to join an established and supportive school as an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-1 support to students with Special Educational Needs, tailoring interventions to their individual needs.
  • Assist the classroom teacher in creating and delivering differentiated lessons.
  • Support students with their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborate with the SENCo and other professionals to implement personalised learning strategies.
  • Contribute to the overall positive and inclusive learning environment of the school.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of a range of Special Educational Needs, including interventions and strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
