Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team at our partner school in Dunstable. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs, helping them to access a quality education and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN.
- Assist in the implementation of EHCP plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Promote the social and emotional development of students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents/guardiands and other professionals to ensure the best support for students.
- Help students with their academic and personal needs, including personal care if required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- A compassionate and patient nature.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is a plus!
