Dunbar Education are currently supporting our partner school in Dunstable in recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant. Our partner school is committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. They are currently seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team in the lower school, making a positive impact on the lives of their students.
Position Overview:
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our partner school's Lower School students in their educational journey. You will work closely with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and engaging learning experience for the students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and implementation of lessons, adapting to the needs of individual students.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who require additional assistance.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist in the assessment of student progress and record-keeping.
- Support students with special educational needs, ensuring their participation and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and adapt teaching materials.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting is preferred.
- Passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
