We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified SENCO to join our partner Primary school near Sharnbrook on a part-time basis. This role offers flexible working days (2 days per week) and will commence in January 2024, running until July 2024, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

Role Overview: As a SENCO, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing support for students with special educational needs. This involves collaborating closely with teaching staff, parents/carers and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the provision of support for students with special educational needs.
- Develop and implement EHCPs
- Conduct assessments to identify specific needs and appropriate interventions.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on effective strategies for supporting students with SEN.
- Maintain effective communication with external professionals and agencies to enhance student support services.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification or significant experience as a SENCO.
- Proven ability to coordinate and implement support for students with special educational needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Understanding of relevant legislation and best practices in SEN provision.
