Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Create and implement tailored education plans to meet the individual needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Monitor and track the progress of students and adjust support as necessary.
- Assist with the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Promote the social and emotional well-being of students.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND.
- Hold an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
- Relevant qualifications in special education or related field (desirable but not essential).
