Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent SEND teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching students with SEND, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of different types of special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEND.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and school environments.
