We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our team in Bedfordshire. As a SEND Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional education and support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and tailored lessons to meet the unique needs of SEND students.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.
  • Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on student progress.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEND education best practices by attending relevant meetings, workshops, and training sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Previous experience working with SEND students is advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of SEND legislation, differentiation strategies, and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a sincere dedication to supporting SEND students.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to changing situations.
