As a SEND Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional education and support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and tailored lessons to meet the unique needs of SEND students.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.
- Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on student progress.
- Stay updated with the latest SEND education best practices by attending relevant meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Previous experience working with SEND students is advantageous.
- A solid understanding of SEND legislation, differentiation strategies, and best practices.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a sincere dedication to supporting SEND students.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to changing situations.
