Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic Spanish lessons for students in secondary school, ensuring content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment where students feel motivated to actively participate in language learning activities and discussions.
- Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to support growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives and enrichment opportunities that promote language learning outside the classroom.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to provide updates on student progress, discuss concerns, and celebrate achievements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or related field (PGCE/QTS preferred, not esstential)
- Experience teaching Spanish at the secondary school level, with a strong understanding of effective pedagogical practices.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and create inclusive learning environments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
