Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our team at a well-regarded school in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. This is a full-time, permanent role starting in January. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Spanish lessons, helping students to develop their language skills and cultural understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons to students across various year groups, ensuring all abilities are catered for.
  • Inspire students to enjoy language learning and achieve their full potential in Spanish.
  • Assess, track, and provide feedback on student progress to support their academic development.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school events as required.
  • Foster a love for Spanish language and culture, encouraging students to pursue further language studies.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in Spanish.
  • Experience teaching Spanish to secondary school students is preferred.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for language teaching.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
