Role Overview: As a SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored support and education to children with various SEN requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student.
- Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
- Implementing strategies to address behavioural challenges and promote positive social and emotional development.
- Collaborating with other professionals, such as SENCOs and support staff, to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods as needed to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
Requirements: To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience working with SEN students is essential.
- Possession of an up-to-date DBS check on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is non-negotiable.
