Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to work full-time in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school setting. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of students with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and diagnosing communication and language disorders in students.
- Planning and implementing effective therapy interventions.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create personalised therapy plans.
- Monitoring and evaluating progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Providing training and support to school staff and parents.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) with relevant certification.
- Previous experience working in a SEN school setting is essential.
- Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) on the update service.
