Sports Coach
A lively and inclusive primary school based in Beaconsfield, close to High Wycombe, that values the importance of physical education in fostering pupils' overall development and well-being is seeking a Sports Coach. Committed to providing a broad and engaging sports curriculum that encourages all pupils to participate and excel in a variety of physical activities.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach to join the team. The successful candidate will e responsible for planning and delivering a range of sports and physical activities, promoting a love for exercise and healthy lifestyles among pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and varied sports lessons for pupils across all year groups.
- Organize and lead extracurricular sports clubs and activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages all pupils to participate and enjoy physical activities.
- Identify and nurture pupils with potential in various sports.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate physical education with the overall curriculum.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils during sports activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant coaching qualifications and experience in sports coaching, preferably within a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of various sports and physical education practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities.
- Commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles and physical well-being.
