Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver art lessons in alignment with the national curriculum.

  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning atmosphere.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students on their artistic work.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistency in the curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.


  • Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.
  • Proven experience in teaching art to secondary school students.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for art.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
