We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our prestigious grammar school in High Wycombe for a one-term cover position starting in September. The school is renowned for its academic excellence and has been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and high-quality maths lessons to students across various year groups
- Planning and preparing lessons in accordance with the curriculum
- Marking and assessing students' work, providing constructive feedback
- Supporting students in their academic and personal development
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a consistent and integrated approach to teaching
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience in teaching maths at the secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
