Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in St. Albans, focusing on helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behaviours within primary school settings. This is a full-time position that offers a rewarding opportunity to support the unique needs of these students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with students with SEN and challenging behaviours, providing one-on-one or small group support as needed.
  • Assist in implementing tailored behaviour management strategies and interventions.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to support student development.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviours.
  • Be a positive role model and source of support for students.
  • Help students build essential life skills and social skills.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students.


  • Previous experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behaviours is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a compassionate approach to working with students.
