Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in St. Albans, focusing on helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behaviours within primary school settings. This is a full-time position that offers a rewarding opportunity to support the unique needs of these students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with students with SEN and challenging behaviours, providing one-on-one or small group support as needed.
- Assist in implementing tailored behaviour management strategies and interventions.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to support student development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviours.
- Be a positive role model and source of support for students.
- Help students build essential life skills and social skills.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and challenging behaviours is essential.
