About the Role:
Dunbar Education is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of PE to join this esteemed academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a dynamic and engaging physical education curriculum across the age-range, inspiring students to lead active and healthy lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality PE lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing targeted support where necessary.
- Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and the school's extracurricular sports program.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure continuous improvement.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) and a relevant degree.
- Experience teaching PE at secondary level; applications from ECTs and more experienced teachers are both warmly wwelcombed
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for physical education and sports.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
