Salary: £17,668 - £18,370 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and ensuring the well-being of our pupils. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and eager to make a meaningful contribution to our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in the preparation and delivery of lessons.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils to enhance their learning experience.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt learning activities to meet their individual needs.
- Prepare and organise classroom materials and resources.
- Supervise pupils during break times, lunchtimes, and other school activities.
- Assist with the assessment and recording of pupils' progress.
- Foster a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere to support pupil engagement and confidence.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is preferred.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
- Basic understanding of child development and educational practices.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential.
