Working Hours:

  • 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (3 days)
  • 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (1 day)
  • 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1 day)

Salary: £23,471

We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Teaching Assistant to join a reputable primary school in Hemel Hempstead on a permanent basis.

Job Description: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students within the school. Your responsibilities will include assisting teachers in the classroom, providing one-on-one support to students with additional needs, and contributing to the overall positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Provide individualised support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour management.
  • Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
  • Supervise and support students during activities and break times.
  • Foster a safe and positive learning environment.


  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an educational setting is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
