Job Description: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students within the school. Your responsibilities will include assisting teachers in the classroom, providing one-on-one support to students with additional needs, and contributing to the overall positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Provide individualised support to students with special educational needs.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management.
- Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
- Supervise and support students during activities and break times.
- Foster a safe and positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Previous experience working in an educational setting is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
