- 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (3 days a week)
- 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (1 day a week)
- 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1 day a week)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our passionate team at our lovely preparatory school in Hemel Hempstead. This is a permanent role, offering a competitive salary of up to £23,500 based on your experience and qualifications. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our teachers and students in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special educational needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
- Help with classroom management and behaviour support.
- Support students' social and emotional development.
- Assist with classroom resources and preparation of learning materials.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure the overall well-being and progress of students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
- A passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a caring nature.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the school and students.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are advantageous.
