Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Support: Provide assistance to the classroom teacher in managing and engaging students effectively.
  • One-on-One Support: Offer support to individual students or small groups, helping them achieve their learning goals.
  • Adaptation of Materials: Assist in adapting and preparing teaching materials as needed.
  • Behaviour Management: Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Curriculum Support: Support the delivery of lesson plans and classroom activities.
  • Assessment: Help assess and monitor student progress.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with teachers, staff, and parents/guardians regarding student performance.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification).
  • A warm and supportive approach to working with children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
