A primary school in Milton Keynes is looking for a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience on a full-time basis and to start as soon as possible. For the right teaching assistant, this will transfer to a temporary to permanent contract.
The pupils you will be supporting is in the school's SEN provision and have low-functioning Autism. You will be supporting either in an individual learning area or within the provision.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will build a strong rapport with the pupil, adapt to their triggers and routines, raise attainment and provide inclusive learning. You will also need to possess strong behaviour management.
