Teaching Assistant - Early Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of the children.
  • Support individual students with their learning and personal development, including those with additional needs.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Promote positive behaviour management strategies and encourage independent learning.
  • Provide feedback to the class teacher on the progress and well-being of the children.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience or qualifications in early years education
  • Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
