Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to support the implementation of lesson plans and learning activities.
- Assist in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons, catering to the needs of individual students.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and student engagement.
- Support students in their personal and social development, fostering positive relationships and encouraging positive behavior.
- Assist with classroom management and student supervision to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents/guardians as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role is preferred.
- A genuine passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents/guardians.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Relevant qualifications in education or related fields would be advantageous.
