Temp-to-Perm Chemistry Teacher Position, Milton Keynes

Job Description

Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Chemistry Teacher for a long-term position at a secondary school in Milton Keynes. This role offers the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to secondary school students.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and best teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months UK education-based experience.
  • Ideally, possess UK-based Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Valid safeguarding certification is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment.
