Dunbar Education is currently seeking a passionate English Teacher for a long-term, temp-to-perm position at a secondary school. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on students' learning experiences and progress to a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students.
- Plan, prepare, and assess students' work to ensure high standards of learning and achievement.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the school's objectives and contribute to a cohesive teaching team.
- Participate in school meetings, parent evenings, and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months UK-based educational experience.
- Qualifications: Ideally possess UK-based Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Compliance: An Enhanced DBS on the update service and valid safeguarding certification are highly desirable.
