Salary: M1 to UPS3

We are currently seeking a passionate and committed Year 5 Teacher to join the team at a middle school near Leighton Buzzard. Our partner school has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted and offers a supportive and collaborative environment for both staff and students.

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a vital role in the education and development of our students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote learning and inspire curiosity. You will also be expected to provide a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports the social and emotional well-being of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the national curriculum, ensuring differentiation and inclusion for all students.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and independent thinking.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching KS2
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development.
