Position: Year 6 Teacher

We are excited to announce a permanent position for an experienced and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to inspire and guide our students through their final year of primary education.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging, and comprehensive lessons that meet the national curriculum standards, ensuring students are well-prepared for their transition to secondary school.
  • Provide effective guidance and support to students as they prepare for their end-of-year assessments and examinations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to provide regular updates on students' progress and address any concerns or challenges effectively.
  • Organise and participate in extracurricular activities and events that enhance students' educational experiences and promote a sense of community within the school.


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a solid understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing and engaging with Year 6 students, supporting their academic and emotional development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
