1:1 ADHD Specialist

Currently, we are seeking a talented and experienced 1:1 ADHD Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students with ADHD, ensuring their individual needs are met effectively.
  • Develop and implement personalized strategies and interventions to assist students in managing their ADHD symptoms and improving their academic performance.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a comprehensive support plan for each student.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the overall well-being and growth of students with ADHD.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting strategies and interventions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student interactions, progress, and interventions.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and developments in ADHD support strategies and incorporate them into practice.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as an ADHD Specialist, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Sound knowledge of ADHD characteristics, challenges, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Strong understanding of special education policies and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting students with ADHD.
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive and nurturing learning environment.
  • Full DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
