Job Title: 1:1 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to work directly with a Key Stage 2 pupil who has autism.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing tailored support and assistance to the pupil in various academic subjects.
- Developing and implementing individualised learning plans in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCO.
- Creating a safe and nurturing learning environment that promotes the pupil's social and emotional development.
- Assisting with communication and sensory needs as required.
- Monitoring and tracking the pupil's progress and reporting to the class teacher and SENCO.
- Collaborating with the school's SEN team to ensure the pupil's needs are met effectively.
- Building a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil to encourage engagement and participation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience working with children with autism or special educational needs (SEN).
- Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and strategies to support pupils with autism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
