Job Description:
Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) with a strong commitment to supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you thrive in a one-on-one support role, helping children reach their full potential? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a 1-1 Support for SEN Children in Hemel Hempstead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to children with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tailored learning plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
- Monitor and track the progress of the children you support.
- Provide feedback and reports on children's development to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or in a similar role is essential.
- A passion for working with children with Special Educational Needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic classroom environment.
- Knowledge of relevant SEN strategies and interventions is a plus.
- Relevant qualifications in education or child development are desirable but not essential.
