We are seeking an experienced 1-1 Teaching Assistant to support students with ASD and behavioural needs in a special educational setting in Northampton.
This is a full-time, temp-permanent role starting as soon as possible. You will be required to:
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored instruction
- Develop an understanding of a range of behaviour and associated needs
- Model effective behavioural strategies and provide feedback to support their implementation
- Engage in all activities and functions to support the safe running of the educational setting.
This role is ideally suited to someone with:
- An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience of working with children with ASD and behavioural needs
- Knowledge of relevant policies and strategies relating to behaviour management
