Academic Administator

Start date: ASAP

Do you have the necessary skills to work as an Academic Administrator at a successful, vibrant school in Abingdon? Our school has been judged as Good by Ofsted and serves children in Key Stages 3 to 5.
We are looking for an individual with experience in supporting the educational goals of students and helping them to progress. You must be willing to coordinate events and organize other academic functions. A willingness to learn and explore new tasks is essential.
  • A commitment to the school as the role holder will benefit from significant training
  • Maturity in outlook as they will be required to liaise with all stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills and able to pitch at required level of understanding
  • Eye for detail (dealing with data, accuracy is key)
  • Ability to extract and manipulate data, happy working with/developing databases
  • Able to work well under pressure, and with changing deadlines.
  • Need to be a team player (although will probably be based in own office)
