We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ADHD Specialist to join our team in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals affected by ADHD and contribute to their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose ADHD and evaluate its impact on individuals.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices for individuals with ADHD.
- Provide counseling, therapy, and support to individuals with ADHD and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and educators, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in ADHD treatment and interventions.
- Offer guidance and support to parents, teachers, and caregivers in managing ADHD symptoms and promoting positive behavior.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as an ADHD Specialist or in a related field is highly desired.
- Excellent knowledge of ADHD diagnosis, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
- A genuine passion for working with individuals affected by ADHD and improving their quality of life.
- Willingness to obtain a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, if not already in possession of one.
- Ability to work full-time and flexibility regarding start date (ASAP or September).
