We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our leadership team as Assistant Headteacher at a Primary school in Aylesbury.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Headteacher in providing strategic leadership and direction to drive school improvement and enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Lead on specific areas of school development, such as curriculum planning, assessment, pastoral care, or staff development, according to your expertise and the needs of the school.
- Play a key role in fostering a positive school culture that promotes high expectations, inclusivity, and a love for learning.
- Lead by example, inspiring and motivating staff to deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to promote the school's vision and values and ensure the best outcomes for all students.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) and significant experience in a primary school setting, including leadership responsibilities.
- Proven track record of driving school improvement initiatives and raising standards of teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
- Strong understanding of primary education policies, curriculum frameworks, and effective teaching practices.
- Commitment to promoting the well-being and personal development of all students, and to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
