We have an exceptional day nursery and forest school located in a picturesque village, just a short drive from Corby, Stamford, and Oundle. They are renowned for their unique approach to early years education, which emphasizes the natural environment, children's self-esteem, and hands-on learning experiences.
Position Overview: Opportunity for a full-time or part-time Baby Room Lead to join the team. As a Baby Room Lead, you will be a vital part of our unique provision, fostering a love for learning in infants through our forest school activities and innovative practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants.
- Implement our "planning in the moment" approach, focusing on spontaneous, child-led learning experiences.
- Embrace outdoor learning and engage in forest school activities to promote hands-on exploration.
- Serve as a key worker and actively participate in team observations to support children's development.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing detailed feedback on their children's daily experiences and progress.
- Undergo safeguarding training and engage in continuous personal and professional development.
- Collaborate with our passionate team to maintain the outstanding qualities of our nursery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Candidates with a Level 2 qualification or higher in childcare are encouraged to apply.
- Unqualified candidates interested in trainee positions and graduates exploring graduate training packages are also welcome.
- First Aid and Health and Hygiene certifications are desirable (training available in-house if necessary).
- Forest School qualification holders will receive a supplement for this role.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:45pm Monday-Thursday and Fridays 08:00-13:00pm
