We are currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join one of our primary schools on a full-time basis. As a Behaviour and Inclusion Teaching Assistant, you will be based in Northampton and will work Monday to Friday from 8.30am-3.30pm.
Your key duties will include providing targeted support and pastoral care to students in primary education to help improve their behaviour, relationships, academic achievements and attitude. You will work with children of different ages and will be able to manage challenging behaviours effectively.
In addition, you will liaise with parents/carers, liaise with external agencies and lead additional small-group activities for the pupils you are supporting. You will have the responsibility for tracking, recording and evaluating the progress of those you are working with, as well as coordinating student development programmes.
Finally, you will have the confidence to support the Teacher in a busy and vibrant environment, to motivate and challenge pupils to ensure positive learning outcomes and success.
