Job Description:

As a Behaviour Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and inclusive school environment by supporting students with behavioural challenges. Your expertise will help shape the social and emotional development of students, fostering a conducive atmosphere for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify and understand behaviour issues in students.
  • Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide effective behaviour support.
  • Offer guidance and training to educators on behaviour management strategies.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Promote positive behaviour and create a nurturing school atmosphere.


  • Proven experience as a Behaviour Specialist or a similar role in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour analysis and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trust with students and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
