Job Description:
As a Behaviour Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive and inclusive school environment by supporting students with behavioural challenges. Your expertise will help shape the social and emotional development of students, fostering a conducive atmosphere for learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify and understand behaviour issues in students.
- Develop and implement behaviour intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide effective behaviour support.
- Offer guidance and training to educators on behaviour management strategies.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
- Promote positive behaviour and create a nurturing school atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Behaviour Specialist or a similar role in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of behaviour analysis and intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trust with students and colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
