Behavioural Specialist Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Behavioural support to join our primary school in Northampton, on a full-time, term-time only basis.
The role will be Monday to Friday, from 8.30-15.30 and will involve working 1:1 with a student with behavioural issues to raise their attainment levels in attendance and behaviour, as well as contributing to the classroom setting for the whole class.
The successful candidate will be resilient and understanding, capable of displaying patience and compassion, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practices is also essential for this role.
